To honor the principle, I might have to dishonor the precedent.

Hold on!  I just got approved to be an Amazon affiliate!  If you’re going to buy ANY product from Amazon, and you’d like to support my efforts for absolutely free, then simply click on one of the Echo links I’ve provided—they’ll send you to Echo’s Amazon page—and THEN buy whatever product you wish.  Amazon gives me a small referral fee each time this happens!  In this manner you can support my books, musings, podcast, zany ads, or my adventures along the noble path known as The Way of The Man Child WITHOUT spending any more money than you were already going to!  Should you do this, I vow to send you a silent blessing, causing your genitals to adopt the optimum size, shape, smell, and death-ray attachment of choice that paralyzes your enemies with fear and envy!  Entire worlds will bow before your nether parts!  😲💪 😜  #Kindle  #KindleUnlimited

  1. Yes, wide overlap. Though I haven’t actually tested this myself (sounds like a time suck), I’ve heard it said by those who would know such things that if you type any keyword in Google (like dogs) and follow the resulting keywords (like training, feeding, grooming, play etc.), your path will eventually lead to philosophy.

Socrates is very pleased, I’m sure.

    • Yes, I suspect that might be valid. I think trying to map out cause and effect will always lead back to a margin of unpredictability, present as a p-value in even the most rigorous of statistical analyses, and that will lead to trying to understand quantum phenomena where cause and effect become much more erratic, and the question arises of whether reality is subjective or objective or if the objective IS subjectivity starts to become much more apparent. And that’s definitely a philosophical conundrum!
