Thanks to All Who Bought Echo! And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna, Sydney, Pam, Jessica, Angela, Kiesa, Ross, Keith, Alice and Daina for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!! Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook! I’d like to reiterate that leaving a positive review for any author is the equivalent of leaving $100 tip at a restaurant (I know some authors who’d actually pay that much for a good review). Although I sincerely appreciate any love you leave me on Amazon, please consider leaving a review for ANY author you know, simply as a random act of kindness…because it’ll mean the world to ’em! (A good place to start are those I’ve listed—a few of them are authors. Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with ’em and I’ll be more than happy to do so! And no, you don’t need to have purchased their book to leave a review on Amazon; you simply needed to have used Amazon at one time or another to leave what’s called an “unverified purchase” review. If you purchased their book at the store or on another eReader, you can still leave a review for them.)
News: I’ve signed on with Palamades Publishing, because I like the owner of the company, Erik Pihel. He has a firm grasp of literature, and as the company is his baby, is personally committed to making sure that the works he publishes are top-notch and provider with the best experience possible at that time. I share that hunger to deliver the best story possible, so I felt his company was the way to go. Soon you will see Echo Volume 1 in paperback. Yay!
Now practically, that means I’ve gotta do a quick re-edit of Volume 1, then submit it to Palamedes’s editor. And this is where it gets painful for me…I still enjoy the EVENTS in Echo 1, but good god, I don’t understand how ANY of you could have given it a positive review! The styling is amateurish and clunky, and stinks to high heaven. I’m trying not to go hog wild—my task is not to rewrite this thing, but to shine it up so that it digests a little easier in the reader’s brain. I have currently edited two chapters, and plan to keep that pace, so within a week or two I should have this thing over to Palamedes for them to inspect. Thank you early readers for enduring the stink of my first attempt, haha!
Man child Mondays is coming. As of now I plan to shoot some funny photos this Friday.
And I think that’s it! If you are a writer, then I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!!
