Yar Har!  I’m  walking along the beach when I see the fabled skull-and-crossbones standard raise from a mast.  A fleet of ships is inbound, but these pirates have updated; they’re now firing turbo lasers and ion cannons toward shore.  Hordes of yuppies are fleeing in wide-eyed terror.  Me and my 10 lb terrier Bitefighter are sprinting along the shore in a half-crouch as sand geysers up from the earth.  I open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  A squadron of T-65 X-wing starfighters screams overhead.  I look at a cockpit and get a thumbs-up from a ninja.  Wait—ninjas?  The cockpits blow off in a series of compressed explosions and ninjas jump onto the ships, touching down with perfect, parkour front-rolls.  I’m treated to the beautiful sight of pirates getting owned by motha duckin’ NINJAS!
