A blast of wind ruffles my hair. I’m desperately maneuvering my WW2 Spitfire through treacherous skies, getting blasted at by Grammar Nazis. They’re all in Messerschmitt Bf 109s. When I scream by them I shout, “YOU REALIZE THAT’S WHAT REAL NAZIS FLEW!” Their faces twist in hate and they furiously reply, “IT’S JUST A COINCIDENCE, DAMN YOU!” I’m getting picked apart by a hail of machine gun fire, when my engines blow into a storm of fire and smoke. I’m falling in a steep dive. I desperately open my eReader to Echo. Magic flash. Suddenly I’m in the black lion seat of a fully formed Voltron (Activate Dyno-therms, fools!) That badass theme plays while I form Blazing Sword and rear back. The grammar nazis’ cockpits are flooding with terror-piss as they witness the majesty of the motha duckin’ Defender of the Universe. Just like in a cartoon, I’m enveloped by speed lines as I crash through their formation, sending these putrid scum to their well-deserved deaths.
