Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Most of my co-workers have kids.  Yep, they’re getting all judgy—judging my love of comics, my dirty jokes…I constantly hear, “When are you gonna grow up?” and, “You’ll never understand, Kent.”  Well I’ve heard it one time too many.  They’re all cooing over baby pics on their phones.  Open my eReader.  Magic flash.  Suddenly those babies burst out of their phones and begin galloping and leaping on all fours with the agility of a panther.  Chubby mouths snarl open and reveal a glinting set of fangs.  People are screaming, papers are flying, and the babies sprout batwings and start attacking in earnest.  Me and a band of stalwart bachelors band together and stave off the tide of flying demon-cherubs with mops and Muay Thai knees.  My former detractors are eating their words, and it’s a hell of a lot better than work, I’m telling you.

Babies do not always grow up to be pleasant.  In fact, most of the time they don’t.  Do the world a favor and get a dog. Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
