Monsanto has completed their takeover of the protein powder industry.  I think nothing of it until I down a shake after my morning workout.  I’m at the sink, washing my shaker, when my whole body starts thrumming.  What the hell?  I look up in the mirror.  My pecs are twitching like I’m being electrocuted.  Suddenly, gross little CHUD (Cannibal Human Underground Dweller—geez, get with the program people) heads erupt from my pecs and start biting the crap out of my neck.  I scream, “OH SWEET JESUS!  DAMN YOU MONSANTO!!!”  Open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Hawkgirl’s Thanagarian Nth-metal forged battle mace appears in my hand and I start bashing the brains out of the freakish little heads.  Bits of skull and eye jelly splatter my mirror.  Whew!  Close one!
