I’m at my desk writing, when suddenly, beautiful strippers materialize and start dancing seductively (I know—weird, right?)  Normally I wouldn’t mind, but I’m working on my book, dammit!  I open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Santa Claus appears, but a fist flies across his face and Batman takes his place.  He says, “What can I do for you, Blessed Son?”  I say, “Dear Batman, I appreciate these strippers, but I need to write.  Can you send them away?”  He laughs.  “You have pleased me.  And for that I’ll give you the gift of focus, so you may do both.”  BRZZZT—my head is encased in crackling light.  Now I can write AND enjoy the sight of dancing strippers.
