“Yo Travis, heads up!” A Douche-Beach-Bro sets a volleyball and it’s spiked but it misses, slamming an innocent Corgi in the face and eliciting a yelp. The douche-bros are laughing, saying “Sorry little guy!” But you know they’re not sorry—they’re laughing. I grit my teeth and open my eReader to Echo. Magic flash. A swarm of tiny bee-sized Corgis with wings flies out, collect all the porta-pottis, and lift ’em into the air. They dive bomb the bros with em, depth-charging the douche-masters with weeks of beach-goer nastiness. I’m in the car cheering on the Corgi-bees, blasting Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries.
