Mr. Fish has left an awesome 5-star on Amazon.uk.co (not sure when it will be combined into the regular Amazon reviews) and has done me Great Service! Currently the rating swings between half-filling the fifth star and emptying it—used to drive me crazy, but guess what??? I’m freakin’ grateful ANYBODY’s reading my books, much less enjoying them! So Thank You Mister Fish!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 (The review is down below):
“Approaching Shatter is a SF novel set over a thousand years in the future on Echo, a distant planet where a brutal civil war rages.
At first I wasn’t sure that this was really for me. I like SF but at first glance this seemed a little too military, but as I read on I began to see there was a lot more to it. Echo is superbly realised, with layers of history, politics, religion, and spirituality.
It’s quite short at about 47,000 words but it felt right to me. I was able to read it pretty much in one go which makes the book work like a film, you kind of get an instant hit. When I finished it I thought “That was good”. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.
I’ve written a longer review on my blog […]”
Congratulations once again.

Awesome – that’s how it starts! Have you read Mark Coker’s E-Books on E-Book Publishing success (E-Book Publishing Success, and Book Marketing Guide, and then he also released Style Guide)? I’m a ways away from publishing, but would recommend all of them. They are all free e-books, and he started/runs Smashwords, which is an e-book publishing platform. Lot of great advice on how to advance readership and find people, and common mistakes to avoid. Look forward to checking your book out too!

I should! Right now I’m trying to get approved for bookbub. Very selective and expensive but I hear they nearly always provide good returns.
