Ever have one of those malicious teachers that delights in telling you you won’t make it?  I’m walking by a school, and I see a six-year old suffering from said teacher.  Instinctively, I toss him my eReader (open to Echo, of course) and it flashes with magic.  The kid hunkers, power explodes and crackles off him, and he metamorphoses into a Voltron.  He forms Blazing Sword and flies off to defend the universe.  The teacher stares, his jaw slack, and Kimbo Slice appears out of nowhere and punches him in his stupid face.

      Haha, thanks! All I did was try to differentiate my ads from the deluge of “Read my [genre] book!”

        Yeah, I’m not keen on the “Read My Book” ads. Your approach seems to be more conversational and that I like.

        I challenge myself to think of each ad as a story so I can sharpen those skills along with the usual ad churning.

    Had one in college, she told me my kind of writing is wrong! I gave up! Today they are publishing thousands of books!

    I had one of those teachers… my HS Creative Writing teacher told me I would never be a writer. Shame she is dead now or I would bitch-slap her with one of my fiction pieces.. ha! This was THE BEST EVER book promo! Hmmmm… but they are listed as 2.99 not .99 may have to put them in my MUST HAVE list and purchase once I have fundage again.

        I grabbed Volume 1 for free.. and snagged Volume 2 for the 2.99.. will try to get them both read asap (hopefully before the end of April) and write up reviews on Amazon & Goodreads..

        I am sure I will enjoy the books.. I am excited to begin reading them. SciFi is my fave genre.. I don’t give negative reviews.. I try to always find something good about a book. I don’t see the sense in tearing down a writer’s work. 🙂
