One a day, a mouth-breathing science nerd like the guy in the Simpsons is making the rounds at the Hadron Collider.  He’s reading Echo, and he snorts in nerdly distress as he fumbles and drops the book down into the deepest recesses of the accelerator, causing an explosion of quantum tech, Zen themes, and cyborg-ninjas to envelop Earth.  Suddenly everybody has a six pack, a PhD in Ninjology, and rides a saddled dinosaur.  That has jets on it.
