Musings

Creativity is a matter of removing the blocks of “can’t” from your mind.  “I ‘can’t’ do this.” “I ‘can’t’ be that.”  Once those blocks of elitism/prudishness are removed, multiple viewpoints will naturally be accessed.  You will be able to become anyone, express any view, and make any thing.

  1. There is another aspect to it BEFORE the removal of “can’t”. If you know that you “can’t”, then you don’t even attempt to do it. But you do have another way to accomplish the task – through your imagination and creativity.
If a cook wants to beat up the goons harassing his manager, he can’t do anything about it (Unless he is a fan of Arnold). But he can obviously imagine to pound those goons.
It always evolves into creativity at a point. And he has “Nine methods to beat up goons” in his pocket.
When your brain is full of your imagination, then the “can’t” barrier is blown away in the flooding barrage of creativity.

It happened with me also. I used to think I can’t write a thing, so I started making up stories in my mind. After sometime, the immense volume of the creativity stored burst my hesitation of “can’t” and BAM! I had 250 pages of fiction in my pc within a month!

“can’t” works as a pressure cooker for creativity.

  2. True… I must agree with your point…. Being creative varies as we also as person differ from one another. You can be creative at any given craft or just simply put you have all the imaginations on your mind.. . For me, those words is matter of the state of your mind… If you always you can’t, you won’t, then you be that I guess…
