Echo: The Weekly Update

Word Count, Vol. 3:  53,078  Thanks to All Who Bought Echo!  And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna and now Sydney for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!!  Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook!

News:  Echo is now exclusively on Kindle so the Kindle unlimited fellas can get their crack at reading it.  I’m back from Peru and whatta trip, hahaha!  Life-changing realizations and all that, but that should be every trip, right?  Anyways, I’m churning out volume 3, and as you can see, I’ve passed my self-imposed “halfway mark.”  I’m operating off the assumption that the publishing industry has a method to their madness, and around a 90k word manuscript is in place for a reason, so my halfway mark is accordingly placed at 45k words.

Okay, as you can see by the title of Volume 3, Atriya is going to be going through a lot more hardship and emo-ness, but I’m glad to report that this is where he starts being built into something positive.  While I see this book ending with him down and in the dumps, this is where you see much more of Verus and a little bit of the cast of Mandala City, where book 4 will take place in large part.  (BTW, have changed the name of book 4; will now be The Alembic Eternal.  That Fantastical Gravity had too much of a whimsy tone, even though both titles illustrate the themes).  So.  Hope some more emo-ness is okay, and I hope that a larger focus on Verus (who is by and large a positive personality) and her asskicking will make up for Atriya’s moping.  Allrighty!  Now it’s off to the gym and if you are a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!!
