THE GREAT RICHARD OF CLAN PILAND HAS POSTED A 5-STAR ON AMAZON FOR ECHO VOL. 2!!!!  Thank You Kind Sir, and now I’m nervous (how long does it take for a writer to stop being nervous about letting down their audience?  Geez!)  of you reading Volume 3, which as of now has no pummeling/shooting/face-smashing, even though I’m 100 pages (30k) in.  I hope that more world-building/intro/fleshing out of magical elements will suffice!  Thanks Richard!  🙂 🙂 🙂  Here’s his review:

“Whoa. Just, whoa.

I started in on this fresh off the heels of vol 1, Approaching Shatter. I had some idea of how this book was going to be. But stepping in isnt possible: This book took a full nosedive and ran with it. And let me say this, that is what i loved about this book.

Mr Wayne knows how to write action. This is packed full of it from start to finish. I had trouble keeping this book down for other life obligations, so every break i got was reading this. The way it was written, I felt everything the main character felt. Every intense moment had a tie in to the whole theme, and the slight plot twists made me even more excited for the next book.

I honestly have little to no dislikes about this book. Thats a rarity with newer authors.

As other comments have mentioned, read the first volume before even attempting a dive into this one. It will keep a lot of things clear.

A great read, and will recommend to my friends.”
