Walking through a PETA rally. Absentmindedly, I take out a stick of jerky and start chewing. The chanting dies down, and I gradually become aware of hundreds of furious stares directed my way. Uh-Oh. “GET HIM!” Wild-eyed, I start running like a bat out of hell. A sea of enraged patchouli and horrendous BO threatens to drown me. My eReader, open to Echo, drops to the ground. Bright flash. Gandalf appears and he slams the ground with his staff: “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!” Waves of air-undulating magic repulse dirty hippies. I’m saved.
