News:  Starting off with a big thanks to everybody who bought Echo, and an ESPECIALLY big thanks to the positive reviewers:  Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, and Lisa.  Thank you!!! 🙂 🙂 :).  Something I realized as I was writing volume 2 is that everything happens in one day, in one battle.  The action does stop for dialogue/character development and foreshadowing, and the events do reflect the themes of the story, but it is all compressed into one battle.  I hope that that doesn’t put people off, but there’s a lot that needs to happen and it’s gotta happen in a short timeframe (for Atriya).  Anyways, I passed the 60k mark!  Woohoo!  Break’s coming so I’ll try to knock out and publish volume 2 before the end of January.  Thanks for the interest!  And to all you writers, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!
