Word Count, Echo Vol. 2: 23941
News: Always gotta start the update with a big THANK YOU!!! to all who bought Echo! 🙂 And an especially heartfelt thank you to Melissa, Barbara and Ian for leaving me amazing reviews on Amazon! If you like the book, please give it a 5-start on Amazon, it really helps! If you don’t like it, well…don’t leave anything-just PM me! Haha! No, I can’t tell you what to do, and I’m grateful anybody read it in the first place. Thanks guys! Unfortunately, I’ve gotta cut back a bit on writing so I can keep the quality up as well as study for school. Going from 600 words/day to 400 for the time being. Also-that is it for free samples of Echo (maybe more for volume 3…not sure) so I’m going to start working on the free samples of the Rarefied Tightrope again. As far as sales-I’ve almost made enough to cover volume 1’s art fees, which is AWESOME!!! 🙂 🙂 :). Another note: I’m thinking to keep the theme of the number four running throughout the story so I’ll have four volumes plus an omnibus (collection of all four books in one). I have covers in mind for each, and as of now the titles of volume 3 and 4 will be “The Dialectic of Agony” and “That Fantastical Gravity.” Those are tentative.
Volume 2 is shaping up to be quite the action packed story! Still in the warehouse fight 7 chapters in! I’ve got a lot more planned for volume 2, and it will be where Atriya gets crippled all to hell, as described in the original synopsis. I felt a little guilty with volume 1, as it was a little over 47k words, which I felt to be a little short (I see other authors pushing less words for higher prices, so I know that I’m actually not being a jerk, but as a kid I expected books to be thicker. Guess times have changed). But I think volume 2 will satisfy anybody looking for a meatier story. It does get challenging however, trying to find new ways to describe Atriya murderizing yet another Dissident. Anyways, volume 2 is where I plan on putting the Exo suit into action as well, which I am VERY excited to write about. To all you writers, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!
