I typically look at my writing and I see problems. It takes about a month to iron out a chapter to read smoothly. But just now, I was reading over some bomb-a** fight scene that I’d written this morning, and I was entertained as hell.

IMHO that’s one of the greatest luxuries: You look over your stuff, you know EVERYTHING that happens in it, it’s bored you to tears ad infinitum, then suddenly it reads like silk and takes you away. You don’t even see the words. It’s just sound, light, and Magic.
