The rules–the ones that endure–are often in place for a good reason.
Know that reason inside and out, and you’ll understand if the rules it generates apply to a problem, or if they’re holding you back.
It’s awareness–not some misguided sense of rebellion–that allows someone to break the rules, and to spread harmony and well-being to those in need.
The other way–loudly declaring “I don’t give a fuck,” or “Nobody’s the boss of me,” or “I’m so detached”–is nothing more than wallowing in ignorance, and an invitation to eventual (if not immediate) disaster.
