Quality is assured through meticulous editing, while workable material is assured through constant drafting. So it naturally follows that if I want to publish quality material on a regular basis, I must be constant in drafting, and ruthless in editing.
But above all, I must always, ALWAYS be drafting. Otherwise, there is nothing to edit.
A good reminder—I’ve had my Editor Hat on for a while now, and it’s about time I take it off and let myself draft again soon. Thanks!

Enjoy! I have a theory that the best parts of writing are the first and last 10%…the first 10% where you draft, and the last 10% where it comes together.

Interesting theory! I’m an aspiring fiction editor, so I actually adore the improvement process, but everything coming together is starting to sound *really* appealing. For that matter, so is drafting.
Good luck with your projects, and congrats on the publishing deal!

Thank you So Much!!! Yeah the coming together stuff is super gratifying, and then when people end up liking it, it kind of seals the deal. Good luck with your stuff as well, Cara!
