Echo: News/Updates on Volume 3

Volume 3, Word count:  18977.  Thanks to All Who Bought Echo!  And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby—and now—F.T.  for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!!  Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook! (Whew, now I have 14 reviews; I didn’t like being stuck on unlucky 13, haha!)

News:  Volume 3 is definitely turning into a parallel journey between Verus and Atriya, and there’s a lot of psionic/magic stuff involved, which I’m super jazzed to write about!  Got the cover commissioned, and while it may not be as dramatic as the others, it will thematically illustrate Verus/Atriya’s dual journey converging on a single moment.  I have the badass emilianohc from fiverr working on it right now—he’s already given me a pencil sketch, and once it is done to my satisfaction, I’ll put it out for you guys to see.  I’m also studying the crap out of Dark Tower II, which I have read at least 10 times in my life, to see how Mr. King uses all the “bad stuff” (run on sentences, sentence fragments, basically improper grammar) to throw those emotional liver punches that he can blast you with. Now in Volume 3 I’m kind of stretching my boundaries a little and trying to add some new tools to my stylistic arsenal.  Not trying to be a crazy nonsensical artist, I’m just trying to deliver the maximal feels possible.  (feels—isn’t that what the kids say nowadays?)

Anyways, (as always), back to work!  If you are a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!!
