I have to have faith I can learn something valuable from “bad” outcomes, and even turn them into unexpected gains.
Otherwise, I will never risk anything, and I will rot in my comfort zone. All because I fear a “bad” outcome.

One way to stop taking myself so damn seriously is to contemplate how transient I am. I may not even exist, or I may be in a simulation.
Which allows me to focus on what I truly want to do–free of dogma, hangups, societal pressures–and give it my all. Because I’ll be gone and forgotten soon enough (if I was ever really here.)
In my opinion, not thinking about “who I am” is one of the most liberating, empowering states of mind I could possibly tap.

News: Progress is gonna slow down for the next week and a half. I’m still banging out five hundred words a day for Kor’Thank, but since I’ve got my buddy Burt Murdock staying over, I’m gonna focus on getting some bro-time in and doing some more podcasts with him.
