About

Dirty Sci-Fi Buddha is the website for me:  author Kent Wayne.  The site name comes from the subject material in my early pieces of writing.

Three works are featured.  The first one is a series called Echo, a science fiction dystopia where a disillusioned warrior pushes his craft to its bloody limits, then attempts to break through into a realm of world-bending mastery.  I’ve finished this four-volume series, and I’ve also posted some free sample chapters, click here to start reading.

The second book is a high school adventure, full of profanity, psychedelics, and interdimensional shenanigans.  Here’s the link for the book on Amazon:  Kor’Thank:  Barbarian Valley Girl.   Sample chapters are available here:  Sample Chapters for Kor’Thank:  Barbarian Valley Girl

I’m working on a YA fantasy called the Unbound Realm, a three-volume series.  I’ve finished books one and two, and I’m working on the third.  Here’s a link to volume 1:  A Door into Evermoor  and here’s a link to volume 2:  Weapons of Old  Here are some sample chapters:  Sample Chapters for the Unbound Realm.

Thanks for your interest!  If you’re a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!  Best way to reach me is by DMing me on Facebook.  However, I have noticed some DMs getting filtered out by Facebook messenger, so if I don’t respond, just comment on my wall.  I’ll take it down, DM you, and address your concerns.  Sorry to all those who never got a response; I wasn’t trying to be rude!  🙂

  1. Hey good luck with your novel. The glossary of concepts was pretty cool, showing off bits of your thought process as you put it together. Great work!

  2. Great site – how good is it to share your entertaining whimsy with so many? Speaking of which, if you have a moment spare, visit sensualism.me and you’ll see a little book of poetry, just published, waiting to find its way into the shopping cart of the many – a great gift for Christmas – ho, ho, ho…

    • Thank You So Much LanguidBear!!!! It’s truly a privilege, especially knowing that some are entertained by my stuff. The money may come or not…but I love the idea of making something that gives a little bit of pleasure to others! 🙂

  3. Hey, thanks for following Words by K. Alan. (@kalanleitchauthor). I’m just getting started, so I appreciate the support. I always admire the drive of someone who self-publishes; I haven’t really worked up the nerve, yet, to do anything but beg to TPTB.

  4. Hello! I would like to say thank you for actually following me on my newly-started blog! Since I was curious, I clicked around your page for a bit, and I have to say I find the theme interesting and seemingly unique! Definitely reading those chapters in the future 😀

  5. Interested to see where this goes… You have my attention sir 🙂 Goodluck with the drafting & editing too. I know how it feels. I myself am trying to write a book (but writers block though…) Luckily my blog is more about my thoughts on life than my book, so I do at least still write. But I seem to have lost my mojo, right after I fleshed out my mythos… wierd. Maybe Im scared… Im digressing 😮 Happy Writing 😉

  7. Thank you for following my blog. Although that blog is about piano playing, I am in fact a fantasy writer and I have written some SF short stories too. So it was nice to bump into a science fiction writer all of a sudden. But there are no such things as random coincidences, you know!

  8. I love this wordpress site. Making the About page your landing page is slick. But… what if It Isn’t All Okay in the end? I mean… is it really All Good or is there some chance of a less than optimal outcome?

      • Haha! I am an honest reviewer though you don’t have much to worry about. Your plot has already interested me. Will review it once I am finished with my current list. Will link it to your website.

      • Thank You! It’s more the flow I’m worried about; I actually can’t stand to read it anymore. I guess that’s good and bad. Mostly good, ‘cos it means I’ve evolved, but also bad, because I wanna go back and redo the whole thing. Thanks! 🙂
