Difficult problems will arrive at our doorstep, whether we want them to or not. And when they do, the question becomes: have we been diligent in our conditioning, so that we can navigate these problems with grace and composure?
All the mundane, irritating practices—diet, critical thinking, work ethic, refinement of strategy—are ways of preparing for those crucial moments. I see it as a game. If I can maneuver through a crisis and keep my peace, I feel that I’ve won.
And then I get back in the game.
