For me, this is very true when it comes to writing. There are times when I sit down to write and nothing comes to mind. But when I start typing, the words start flowing and things slowly fall into place.

I’m not sure being lost is the issue, so much as just sitting/standing in one spot. Being lost, but still moving along is, I think, a better situation than just staying lost in one spot.

I see it as if you’re moving and keeping an eye out for a better direction, that’s not lost. (imo, anyway).
