Love this stuff. I think without statistics, we wouldn’t be able to impose a hierarchy on our deductive assumptions as to what to do next.

Luck – as I see it – is a simplified concept created to “explain” the random variables/chaos that exist in our lives that help or hinder our daily activities and progress to our goals.

Interesting how our desire for simplification coincides with our creativity—I think concepts like luck and magic are our resultant attempts to categorize the unknown.
