Actively seek to be humbled, actively seek to learn from it, and strength/will/worth will no longer be a concern; they’ll naturally pour into you.

I’ve always said that true humility and true pride go hand in hand. To be humble is to accept your limits, while false humility is to feign limitation while seeking praise.
Likewise, true pride knows its true worth, while false pride needs to announce its worth to others in order to FEEL worth.
Worth cannot be gotten from another person; it derives from within.

Not only that, being humble allows someone to improve; it allows them to exactly where they are, so they know where they need to go. 🙂

Writing humbles me. The more I write, the more I learn. I can only hope that strength/will/worth will find me.
Yikes, that’s a tall order… A lifetime of work ~ To actively seek humility is to reflect on self. To know one’s own limitations is humbling enough. Remember…be kind to yourself so you can be kind to others. Have a great day…Buddha is: all things are sacred, it’s a matter of viewing it. You are sacred behold oneself to behold another. This is humility: to know living itself is a privilege. Enjoy today, reflect on yesterday, hope in tomorrow. That’s my thinking oh Dirty One…

I’ll go with it! I actually think you can go the other way and achieve the same effect; all things or sacred or nothing is, everything is a teacher or nothing is; the key is to eliminate the idealization which reinforces duality and be able to take things instance by instance, problem by problem, and in this way, appraise each instance with a clear mind.
