Love this perspective. When I’m meditating consistently, I find myself adopting precisely that approach – I’m able to detach from the situation, take a step back and chuckle at the absurdity of it all. That actually makes you much more effective, as you say.
This reminds me of the thief and the bear in the novel _That Hideous Strength_ , and how each one dealt with suffering.
The older I get, the more I laugh at myself…most of the time for the things I once labeled insufferable. Your perspective reminds me of this. Enjoy. All my best to you.
