It is by default that I apply myself, for as I grow older, there seems to be no more horrifying fate than to have faded away with a mouthful of empty, dusty promises about how I was going to do better the next day.

  1. Since turning thirty, I increasingly make life choices by imagining how I would feel about them as an old woman laying on my death bed.

  3. This is so true. The older I get, the more motivation I find to actually try and do some of the things I dream about.

    1. I feel like time moves faster as well, the older we get.
