To preserve the structure and norms of society, we are forced to lie to each other.

To evolve/sharpen our spirit, we must never lie to ourselves.

If what you consider the divine is within everything, remember that it creates; it doesn’t just exist and die.

For those seeking to become closer to/merge with the divine, know that you exist and die by default, so don’t forget to CREATE.

“Think outside the box”/”See between the lines”/”Take the road less traveled”-these things require specialized training to break from the herd: Train yourself to see what is mundane in the supposedly “extraordinary” and see the extraordinary in the supposedly “mundane.”

Want your work/art to resonate? Study the deep truths that are present everywhere, every when. The things you do/make must piercingly reflect on some level of your audience’s soul, even if they themselves don’t realize it.

Access creativity with a clear mind. Empty your cup, watch it fill with worlds of wonder and marvel.

Drafting and editing are like the jab and the cross. Do them every day, study them ceaselessly, endlessly; or you will get knocked the f*** out

At a certain point, you must switch focus from seeking inspiration to simply being that which inspires.

The fight against entropy is rigged, so in the short time you have, race maddeningly, breathlessly. Leave decay in the dust.
