[The Divine] is simple; the board games (s)he makes are complex.
So have faith in the basics, and have fun with the complexity. 😉

Operating off the premise that we are fragments of [the divine], then it follows that every problem/challenge we experience is not some monumental struggle between light and dark, but an infinitely loved story that [the divine] tells to itself. So if we want to play the role of the warrior/villain that’s fine. Or we can just unwind the ego and let [the divine] pour through us…
Because we are all just infinitely loved dreams. 😊
I think the INTENT under every statement has truth to it (even the ugly & stupid ones are muddled cries for power/security/validation); the challenge lies in how well we can EXPRESS that intent.
So remember, poets: bad poetry is terrible, good poetry is sublime. 😉
What are we but temporary expressions of wonder, encased in transient configurations of atoms? The important thing is to remember to enjoy ourselves, and to be kind to others. Because in an instant we’re gone…and if you believe some of the theories of simultaneous time…we’re being born, dying, living, nonexistent—all at once.
[We] were always [something good] that was meant to Love, Laugh, and Dream. 😉
Detachment doesn’t mean you are aloof or indifferent; on the contrary, it means you have no problem going from 0-100 and back again in the same instant.
Being able to love brightly, and when it’s time, to let go lightly.
No need to cling to our epiphanies; if we learn from them and let them pass through our minds without trying to hold them down, then better ones will follow.
It’s all about the flow. The snapshots are meant to fade. 😌
It isn’t about chasing down every possible solution; our lives are too short for that. At a certain point it’s about letting go of what you know to be false (That knowledge is deep, deep in your heart—and that’s why it’s important to hold yourself accountable and explore your inner workings).
The rest will take care of itself. 😉
All roads lead back to the simple realizations that we should remember to laugh at ourselves, and we should pursue life with a full heart and enjoy every Damned second of it.
(But don’t stress if you forget; IMHO, life is a planned series of reminders and easter eggs to keep you from being indefinitely lost) 😉
Given the premise that the divine is within all states of mind (evil, noble, selfish, altruistic), when you feel the urge to be selfish or “low,” don’t denounce it—accept it…just so long as you don’t IDENTIFY with it. Stay steady in your faith that there is nothing at its core that’s “unnatural.” Ironically, your mind will automatically be returned to a “higher state” because you’ve stopped clutching at the duality that comes from rejecting that low state of mind.
I’ve just tossed around some hippy dippy terms here but maybe I can say it more concisely: Instead of “ground n pound,” Aikido your ego. And don’t forget to have fun while you do it! 😉 (works for me anyways…)
The best spiritual experience is not when you dream of [the divine], but when it becomes undeniably clear that [the divine] is dreaming YOU.
