Man Child Monday

My latest ham-handed scheme to seduce soccer moms involved making out with a flexed bicep while dressed in undies.  In the span of seconds, I was tased, bludgeoned, and soundly beaten about the face and genitals.

I’m on a podcast!

Next week, Man Child Monday will return!  But today, I just want to throw one more plug out for the podcast.

It was call-in software, and I’m well aware my voice sounds nerdy (I’ve been told I sound like a dubbed over kung fu villain when I get excited).  I’m also a definite noob at the spoken word, especially in a forum with three other voices.  If you can stomach all that, then I hope you have a listen and enjoy yourself!  🙂 🙂 🙂

Here’s the link to the episode:  Red River Radio.

Give the podcast a listen!

I’ve guested on a podcast!  Here’s the link to the episode:  Red River Radio.

I’ll be guesting on a Podcast!

In lieu of Man Child Monday (I’ll post photos again on on 4/23), I’ll be guesting on a podcast:  Dellani’s Tea Time Monday.    You can listen to it live 1-3pm pacific, or listen to it after it’s aired.

I’m not really fast on my feet when it comes to the spoken word, and when I get excited I sound like a dubbed over ’70s kung fu villain, so there’s a good chance I’ll come off as a complete idiot.  If you’re so inclined, come give it a listen!  🙂 🙂 😀

I’ve been invited to guest on a podcast!

Hey everybody, until 4/23, Man Child Mondays will go on temporary hiatus so I can spread the news that I’ve been invited to be an author-guest on a podcast called Red River Radio!  The chat will take place on 4/9, it’ll be for two hours, and there’ll be two other authors along with the hosts.  I’ll post a link when they’ve got the audio formatted and ready to listen to.  Apparently, the chat is PG-13, so I won’t be joking about my nethers and whatnot, and I’ll probably try not to swear.  Fair warning:  I’ve been told that I sound like a dubbed-over 70s Kung Fu villain when I get excited, so I’ll do my best to enunciate carefully, haha!  This is also my first foray into spoken-word entertainment, so I’ll probably come off as a complete idiot.  Anyways—4/9!  Blogtalkradio.com/rrriver!  See you—sorry, TALK to you—guys soon!  🙂 🙂 😀

Man Child Monday

“There I was—balls deep in your mother’s ass…”

Shortly after detailing my lusty adventures with the local frat-bros’ moms, I had to beat a hasty escape in which I employed a jetpack and a dinosaur.

Gird yourself for St. Paddy’s Day!  Don your tiny green hats and sharpen your old-timey boxing, for hordes of leprechauns are coming!  THEY’RE COMING!

Not sure if you can see the doodle beside my signature, but in true Man Child fashion, I had to mark the first proof copy of Echo with a crude drawing of male genitalia.  Photo taken by friend and Cool Guy Jumar Balacy

Musings

It takes discipline to view an inspirational figure as a strategic asset—objectively noting their methods/actions, and using analysis/experimentation to determine whether their methods/actions are useful or not in a specific context.

It’s much easier to view someone as an idol—to blindly follow their example, regardless of whether or not it makes any sense.
