That would imply that humility = sucking. I’d rephrase “humble enough to admit when you suck” (so that you can objectively see where you’re going wrong)

Interesting. I thought the phrasing implied there is a certain depth of humility that allows you to suck, like Tiger Woods who purposefully ignored his strengths so he could work on his weaknesses—even though it temporarily detracted from his overall performance—so he could break through old limits that he wouldn’t have otherwise been able to.

Taking a risk can bring rewards, but sometimes we have to stay humble.

I believe they go hand in hand. Being humble (which, in my opinion is setting ego aside so you can see things as honestly as possible) will indicate when taking a risk is the most sensible option.

Yes, the realism of life… you win and lose… it’s all about prespective! 🙂

Hey, at least you can say “I tried”.

That’s never a bad thing…and then when folks can say I tried my best, here’s why I say that, here’s what I learned, and here’s what I’ll do different next time, THAT’S when I start looking at them as someone who’s serious about giving it their all, regardless of victory or defeat. 😊
