I’ve worked with plenty of people who are deeply invested in being perceived as “right.”ย  I’ve worked with only a few who are deeply interested in GETTING it right.

I prefer the second over the first, hands down.

  1. Yes! And itโ€™s funny how much hard work they will put into being perceived as right when their efforts would go so much farther in getting it right.

    1. We live and die by the narratives we tell ourselves. Nowhere is it more apparent than in Derren Brown’s mentalism. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Study yourself over time with brutal honesty and deduce what your true intent is. Then run an experiment with the best strategy you can formulate. Adjust according to evidence.
