So very true. Maturity has been said to be achieved when we realize not every conflict requires our participation and attention.
The rewards of those actions are even sweeter than an active engagement with whoever pushed us in that direction!
Absolutely! While confrontation is sometimes necessary, being vindictive often has led me into a quagmire where nothing gets resolved. But when I hunker down and focus on being productive, I forget all about it, and “win” simply because I don’t even care about fighting anymore. All I care about is continuing to evolve and achieve my objectives. ๐
