Musings

In my experience, calling yourself out on bullshit and addressing a problem is infinitely better than waiting for that bullshit to infect your perception and sabotage every attempt to improve your position.

    1. Is that a reference to the political correctness controversy in Canada? Haha!

So true… Recognizing your own bullshit is a very personal, introspective journey.

True, but sometimes I “step in it” firstly before I recognize it.

Yep! An American writer (whose names I cannot find at the moment) once wrote ‘Admit your mistakes before some exaggerates them’

There’s many hits on google but I can’t find one which attributes it to anyone (I remember seeing one, several years ago, possibly surname was ‘Edwards’)

  5. We could definitely use more of that. It’s incredible how easy it is to create a bullshit narrative in one’s mind and actually believe it. And once one starts believing their own bullshit, it might be too late to turn back, so we need to check ourselves way before we get there.
