Comfort is glorious—I regularly indulge in it—but I take care to resist its siren’s song by balancing it with discipline, for I am wretched and miserable when caught in the throes of comfort.

What makes you more miserable: being in the throes of comfort and realizing it, or realizing that the comfort is gone when it’s gone?

    1. Being in the throes of comfort. Because when it’s gone, I know it’s only a matter of time until it comes back. When I’m trapped in its throes, I can’t get what I want done because I’ve grown too attached to it.

  2. Oh my! Wretched and miserable… if ever you visit, I’ll make sure to make it as uncomfortable a stay as possible. 😉

    Keep writing my friend. 😀

    1. Moo hoo ha ha! It’ll be a pretty sweet game of cat and mouse! I’m about to get cracking on my books, so will do! 😀

  3. And this is exactly why I do not buy pints or almost gallons of ice cream. I crave the comfort and indulge, but if it was always close…I’d be sicker than Bitefighter after nibbling too many pizzas made of dubious ingredients.
