When you demonize someone, you blind yourself to the insights they might be able to offer.  So if you’re disciplined and clearheaded, there are no “demons,” only teachers with unsavory polarities.  You may have to fight or undermine them; it doesn’t change the fact you can still learn from them.

  2. It correlates strongly with the “don’t burn all your bridges” aspect of life in general, as everyone’s experiential curve, though starting from the same point, is slightly different, and hence, makes for a good source of knowledge and wisdom to learn from. Well said!

    1. Exactly! Who knows what the person has gone through? It’s much more practical to assess their perspective than to condemn it.
