There is no inherent salvation in structure. Adhering to structure can often lead to effective action, which can induce a positive course of events, but structure alone is not enough. One must be EFFECTIVE. And to do that, one must constantly question whether the structure is serving them…or if they’re serving the structure.

Effective structure. Mum had an insulin pump to give her insulin constantly. She refused to wear the part which monitored her glucose and relied on fingersticks. She had a structure, but refused to use it properly and it was entirely ineffective. I have a bed, which is a lovely old structure with a horrible mattress. I should be using it at this moment, but am not. The effective use of that structure is lost. My dear, this is a very good thought!
