IMHO, the ability to interact with “good” is a function of how mature you are…how capable you are of seeing that there is “good” and “evil” in all things and how easily they reverse their positions.

That is so true! There is no good without evil. That’s the paradox! We have to be able to see it to get anywhere.

Yep! Not just understanding, but fluidly navigating paradox to me is a sign of someone who’s pretty evolved!

Quite so.
And those scary interludes when you find yourself doing the worst of things for what you thought initially were the best and most honest of motives.
(That’s before we get around to the countless times we’ve thought that way).
I suppose a bit like navigating or steering a ship through stormy waters

Yep! That’s where the ego and emotional investment kicks in, tries to make us stay the course when we know deep down we gotta adjust. I’ve definitely fallen prey to that many a time.
