Barring accident, we live 1, maybe 2 centuries? Considering the cosmic span of time, our greatest achievements are just a twitch of the universe’s eye.  And while some may feel trapped/depressed by this futility, I find it intensely liberating:  I have however long I’m allotted to make the grandest, strangest experiment of my life.  Why not?  By the time [Higher Power] blinks, I’m gone.
