There are tons of legitimate excuses. I’ve heard widespread acceptance of my failures when I explain myself. But I don’t want to be the guy who “understandably failed.” I want to die as the guy who got things done. To Hell with the reasons or circumstances. Those obstacles are just challenges/opportunities to exercise creativity and SOMEHOW prevail.
“Understandably failed” might soften one’s approach. But it does give a feel of getting appreciated. Being completely hardcore is not possible for everyone who dreams for excellence.

True. Personally, I’ve spent years convincing myself I’ve made progress just because I was “doing something.” Now I hold myself accountable to accomplish both internal and external benchmarks. While I may be translated as being a proponent of being hardcore, I’m more trying to advocate personal accountability, 🙂

Hmmm. Failure. You have a much better approach to it then I do today. 🙂

Maybe, maybe not! Haha, sometimes we need to fail now so we don’t fail in the future! (I think…)

The doing of, is the thing. To have tried and to be seen trying is also important, it shows you were there. No one who makes that effort ever fails. Countless numbers watch, but only a few have the fire to try.
