Chapter 1:  Opens with a glimpse of the protagonist’s past, hints at his current dilemma, and foreshadows what’s going to happen to him.

Chapter 2:  Begins the progression of Atriya being pushed out of his comfort zone; he will be unable to find sanctuary in everything that had previously given it to him.

Chapter 3:  Opens the outer setting.  Displays the greater world and society as reflective of a dark age.  Lead-in to the first external conflict.

Chapter 4:  Will arrive July 29.  Through building conflict, will display Atriya’s discord with the dark age-infected military that he is a part of.  Lead-in to physical conflict.
