Thanks for the immensely positive feedback on the cover art! Wish I could illustrate that well but it was done by elsbro on fiverr. I gave him the three elements: Gloved hand, cigarette, ruined city, and sent him some photos that captured the feel of what I wanted, then he did his artist magic and gave me an awesome cover pic. I wanted the art to be simple, attractive, and also tell a story in and of itself and I think he did an awesome job. I even asked after his first pic to go back and add light armoring that looked protective but flexible and accented the shape of the body rather than bulking it, and he did so fantastically.
Chapter 3 is on track to be released Wednesday, and I’ve also put out Echo as available on wattpad: Echo on Wattpad. For those of you who want something more accessible from a mobile device. Melissa, Kelli, Ashley, Nicky, K A Mears, Timothius, Kyrie Martin, Wordsmiths Ink, I am deeply honored that you guys felt some of my posts were good enough to share, so thank you! I’m going to get back to my editing, so I can hopefully pay you guys back with some up-to-snuff entertainment. If you are writers, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!
Synopsis: It has been over a thousand years since humanity has left Earth to settle off-world on Echo. For almost that entire time, an age of darkness and oppression has ensued. Military and police have merged into the Department of Enforcement. Government and corporations have merged into the Regime. Little progress has been made except in the area of weapons technology. Echo’s only hope resides in one man, a bitter and crippled formerly elite Enforcer. Before he can break the cycle of ignorance for Echo, he must first do it within himself.
Within the story, there will be giant robo-suits, swords, and something akin to the Force. Currently drafting.
