Word count on my book Echo:  32922.  In the next week or two I’ll throw up chapter 1 as a free sample.  I actually plan to release the first five chapters as free samples.  I’ll elaborate more in the coming weeks.

Here’s the synopsis:  Humanity is in a dark age.  1200 years ago, humans left Earth to settle on Echo.  The chance for paradise was there:  An uninhabited world with fresh water, clean air, and plenty of space.  More than a thousand years later, it’s the exact opposite.  A millennia-long dark age has fallen.  Governments and corporations have collapsed into the totalitarian power known as the Regime.  Military and police have fused into the Department of Enforcement.  A war between the Regime and a huge network of rebels known as the Dissidents has ravaged the planet for centuries.  Hope for change lies in a bitter and crippled former Enforcer.  But before he can break the planet’s cycle of ignorance, he has to do it within himself.
