My novel in the works is Echo:  For the last 1200 years, since humanity has left Earth to settle on Echo, it has been stuck in an age of darkness and ignorance.  Corporations and governments have collapsed into the authoritarian oppression known as the Regime.  Military and police forces have merged into The Department of Enforcement.  With no foreign powers or separate countries, the Department is used to aggressively hunt and kill those who are part of the huge rebel network known as the Dissidents.  Only one man, a former Enforcer, can lift Echo out of ignorance.  First though, he has to do it within himself.
