The best way to weather others’ judgment? Personally, I find that the best way to do this is to live life so that I like what I see when I look in the mirror. Yeah, that means taking risks and leading a disciplined life…but I’ve found that on the days I do this, the weight of others’ scorn simply evaporates.
Look at that picture! The gang’s all together!

That comment was intended for another’s post! Anyway, great advice as always. I never know if you’re commenting on current events, but this is exactly what is allowing me to weather the storm, presently.

You can’t, don’t and won’t always like what you see and that’s how it goes. But what anyone else thinks about you is their baggage, good or bad, not yours, and should never enter into the equation. Even if they are valuable to you, their minds and issues belong to them, regardless. And there’s absolutely nothing you can do about that if you’ve been yourself. Even if you haven’t…

Yep. That’s why I think it’s super important to have your own thing that brings you fulfillment. Otherwise you’re constantly on some subjective score card.

The judgement of others, as put upon another, is really just the judgement of oneself. Everybody should just keep a mirror in their pocket, and whenever they feel judged, they should shove that mirror in the person’s face – hah, wouldn’t that be great?
