Holding yourself accountable is not about feeling good; it’s about BEING good.
(But when you manage to do it, yeah, you’ll naturally feel good). 😉

Makes it sounds so easy, doesn’t it?

never easy. Simple in theory, complicated in execution, and hard in life. Guess that’s what makes it fun, right? haha!

Not always. Sometimes, I feel like a sucker. However, it’s still better to do what’s right. At least you’ve got the knowledge that you acted correctly. I’d rather be a sucker than a s***.

Yeah, I hear what you’re saying. “feel good” is a subjective thing, but as I grow into a cranky old man, the “feel good” for me becomes more about the comfort when I go to bed that I did the right thing rather than having jumped at the transient pleasure. Keep your head up N.S. and don’t let the fools make you jaded! 😉

You must have been reading my mind. Have set a list of things I want to accomplish but of course, there’s no one but me holding me accountable and I must say, I have SLACKED. New leaves turning in the morning for sure. Thanks for the reminder.

No Problem! And it’s okay to slack; slacking is inevitable…the game is: when we fall off the wagon, what new wonderful technique do we learn to stay on longer next time and how fast do we get back on? 🙂 You’ve got this! Your slacking was not a waste!
