Despite all appearances to the contrary, the profound is in the mundane. There’s also love within the misery.
Realizing that right there determines whether life becomes drudgery or adventure.

It’s all perspective. You can’t choose what happens to you, but you can choose how to respond to what does. And within that, all life can be a blessing. I just bit my lip while eating lunch. The pain reminds me that I’m alive! And that I have food to eat.

Good use of “secondary gains!” I heard this term describing how one can parlay “misfortune” into a benefit!

Going to nick that…parlay misfortune.
Lean into misfortune and see it as treasure trove of gems of wisdom and maps with ‘X’ marking the exponential leaps you will make on your treasure hunt called life- ‘Ahoy there my maties!’

Nick away! That’s how things have to be right? (at least most of the time). It’s too depressing and unproductive to think otherwise!

One of my teachers said there is only a very fine line between fear and excitement. Moving from fear to excitement makes all the difference. That move has been, and still is, the most difficult move I make. Fear is damning.
What helps me is remembering how I felt as I was on my way to be born. That sounds really corny, even to me; but one day I remembered, and that memory changed my life. I was SOOO excited! I was ecstatic! The life changing part is that I could see how hard it would be – and I didn’t care! I love that feeling, so fearless.
Funny thing is, when I got here and they pricked my heel, and it hurt, and I screamed . . . I got scared to stick my foot out. That was the beginning of my fear, as far as I know. For reals. 🙂

Whoa! That’s incredible! :0 Perhaps we need to cater to that age-old cliche and experience fear to know excitement! 🙂
