Sometimes it’s about telling people.
But mostly, it’s about showing them.

Didn’t know you were a teacher! If we had to fix the world your profession would be the most competitive, highly esteemed, well-paid job in the world!

Most of my life I have taught. From college level down all the way to nursery and all the time the government has interfered with supporting creative minds and allowing humans to grow at their pace. First college and now schools have been reduced to ticking boxes. Yeah I wanted everyone to be the best they could be but the government wanted me to throw all the recent learning and development research done by experts and take it back to how my grandparents were taught by rote. Don’t understand just do! The badgering of teachers by a certain government official made up my mind for me and I left teaching before it killed my optimism and creativity.
I was trained at university be a business analyst and software engineer at university and have practiced those professions between the college and primary school teaching.
My aim is to evolve.
My dream is to bring excellent teaching to all,in developing countries. That was my PhD but my professor jumped universities after I completed one year and the university I was at no longer had the expertise apparently. My young 25 let go of my dream.

Well I admire you but I don’t envy you! On the entirely positive side, it sounds like a MASSIVELY evolutionary experience! 🙂
